Dr. kelsie reed
CO-FOUNDER/CEO
Dr. Kelsie Reed, Ph.D. is., is a nationally certified school psychologist in Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland, practicing at the elementary and middle school levels. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2020 and was the recipient of two university awards for her dissertation titled, “Investigating Exclusionary Discipline: Teachers, Deficit Thinking, and Root Cause Analysis.” She is passionate about using strength-based practices in the K-12 school setting to disrupt deficit beliefs about youth. Through her research, practice, and advocacy work, Dr. Reed aims to inspire others to foster a more equitable and inclusive society, where individuals of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and empowered.
