This free guide is designed to help parents, educators, and school psychologists better understand the diverse strengths, support needs, and learning styles of autistic children and teens. Each section highlights common traits and practical supports across four age groups from early childhood through high school, and includes a dedicated section for youth with high support needs.

 

Rather than focusing on deficits or “fixing” behaviors, this guide offers a respectful, affirming approach to support. It centers neurodiversity, honors student voice, and helps adults build more inclusive environments where autistic students can thrive.
